Geon Africa Book Distributors was founded and registered on July 26, 2006 as a private company .The registration of the company was necessitated by the gap that was spotted in the distribution of law books to law firms and legal institutions.

This was entirely because, then, there was no serious Kenyan distributor of especially law books, who could take to lawyers their much needed tools of trade to their door steps. It was until July 01, 2007 that Geon Africa started its formal operations.

An office was thereafter located at RentFord House on Muindi Mbingu Street into which the company moved immediately.
